I have a background in experimental psychology, in particular cognitive and affective electrophysiology. I am unreasonably excited by Bayesian multilevel models, and use them as much as my abilities allow me to.
I founded (and coordinated for a couple of years) the Open Science Community Rotterdam (OSCR), a bottom-up community where researchers and professional staff discuss and learn about open research practices. OSCR is part of the International Network of Open Science & Scholarship Communities (INOSC), which embraces many communities in the Netherlands and other regions in the world.
As Head of Open and Responsible Science (ORS) at Erasmus Research Services, I have the privilege to work with Data Stewards, Ethics Secretaries, and Open Science experts on the common goal to make open scholarship the default way of working at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
